Join Us for the Mid-Mitten Yarn Shops Shop Hop – October 2–5!
Calling all yarn lovers—get your travel shoes ready! From October 2nd through 5th, Unwind is thrilled to be part of the Mid-Mitten Yarn Shops Shop Hop, a four-day celebration of creativity, community, and, of course, yarn.
How It Works
Start your shop hop adventure by purchasing a $10 passport from any of the participating yarn shops. Your passport is your ticket to all the fun and includes:
Access to exclusive knit and crochet patterns from each of the 7 participating yarn shops. (See list below)
A free tote bag to collect your treasures.
Special deals and promotions at each stop along the way.
Unwind will be buzzing with activity during the hop, featuring extended hours, daily events, and two fabulous trunk shows you won’t want to miss:
Missy will be joining us at Unwind with an assortment of indie dyed yarns. If you’re looking for something beautiful and unique, she’s sure to have it!
Sue of K2Tog will have some fantastic project and notion bags available to keep you organized on the go.
Unwind’s Shop Hop Schedule
Thurs., October 2 • 6-8pm
Knitted Knockers Workshop
Kick off Breast Cancer Awareness month by knitting for a great cause. Create handmade prostheses for women who have lost a breast in their cancer battle. Experienced knocker-knitters will be onsite to help you learn about this great cause and how you can support other women with your craft.
Fri., Oct. 3 • 11am-7pm
Extended Social Knit/Crochet Hours
Pull up a skein and stay awhile! Unwind will have extended social knit/crochet hours so you have plenty of time to stich & chill with your new fiber friends.
Sat., Oct. 4 • 2-4pm
Continental Knitting Worshop
Drop-in sessions available every half hour during the workshop. We’ll show you proper yarn holding techniques as you practice a few rows on a charity hat.
Sun., Oct. 5 • 10am-5pm
Extended Social Knit/Crochet Hours
We’re wrapping up the hop with another cozy day of stitching together—bring your work-in-progress and settle in.
